STEVE JOBS

STEVE JOBS one of the most revolutionary person of the century. It has been 10 years now since he died on 5th oct 2011 but his work is still benefiting every human and it is going to grow like endless branches of tress(technology).

                                        

STEVE JOBS is co-founder of APPLE INC. He was an American business magnate, industrial designer, investor and media proprietor. He was the chairman and CEO of Apple Inc; the chairman and majority shareholder of Pixar; a member of The Walt Disney Company's board of directors following its acquisition of Pixar; and the founder, chairman, and CEO of NeXT. 

IN his collage days he was a hippy and he liked to meditate in Krisnna Temple near his college. He also came to India in search of Nil Karoli Baba for enlightenment. He didn't met him because Baba was no more. Still he llived in India almost a year, in search of enlightenment. He went back and studied about computers and ZEN BUDDHISM. Since then Zen thinking has been the basis of his creativity.

In 1976, Steve Woznaik, his friend, made a personal computer, named Apple 1, a personal computer. Jobs brought in Ronald Wayne and these three person produced and sold it. 1977 Wozniak again made an 8-bit home computer, named Apple 2. It became one of the first highly successful mass-produced microcomputer.

Dec 1980, Apple went public and Jobs became billionaire overnight. In his tenure at Apple, he developed Macintosh. In 1985 due to bad business decisions, Jobs was forced out of CEO post. Jobs decided to leave the company and went on to Incorporate NeXT. He also co-founded Pixar. Further in 1997 NeXT was acquired by apple (paying a lot for the company then the real value), so that Steve Jobs can again become the CEO  of Apple. In 2006 Pixar was acquired by Disney (again paid a lot then the real value).

In this comeback, Jobs rearranged the board, entire creative team, engineers and management system. His main focus of rearrangement was that every team should be working together to create one best product instead of creating a lot of unsatisfying and not so effective and to be the best in the world.

His business strategy was way ahead for time therefore his business strategy has set an example and inspiration for everyone. 

During his 2nd tenure at Apple he begin with the slogan of "Think different". Then apple became the leader of revolutionary innovations such as (iMac, iTunes, iTunes store, Apple store, iPod, iPhones, App Store, Mac OS and the iPad). Few months before his death Apple became the most valuable company in the world. In 2020 it became the first company to cross market cap of $2trillion. Still it holds the rank one in valuation.

After Jobs death Tim Cook had been made CEO of Apple. Tim Cook have been very close to Apple and Jobs and had played major role in making Apple more profitable. Now he adopted the vision and strategy of Jobs. After Jobs I think apple have been little slow in innovation. Far then that it is the most innovative and valued company in the world. 

I DON'T THINK THAT STEVE JOBS WILL BE REMEMBERED SEPERATLY FROM APPLE
